Rogers Okello bridging the gap between Business and Entertainment

Share:

Born in Kanungu on January 24, 1990, Rogers’ story is rooted in humble beginnings.
Raised in a financially challenged household, he developed a strong work ethic from
an early age.

His fortunes changed dramatically when former Prime Minister Amama Mbabazi
sponsored his move to China, where he pursued a Bachelors of Engineering in
Information and Security and Masters in MBA.

During his stay abroad, Rogers gained exposure to international markets and emerging business trends.

Friends say China became more than a sporting destination for Rogers. It became a
classroom where he learned valuable lessons about entrepreneurship and wealth
creation.

Returning to Uganda with a new perspective, Rogers established several business
ventures and quickly became recognized for his entrepreneurial ambitions. His
investments expanded over the years, creating employment opportunities and

strengthening his position in Uganda’s private sector. However, it is his close friendships with artists such as Alien Skin that have brought him additional public attention.

Frequently seen supporting musicians and attending major entertainment events, Rogers has become a respected figure among both entrepreneurs and entertainers.

Observers believe his ability to move comfortably between the worlds of business
and music has made him one of the country’s most interesting emerging
personalities.
