Singer Alien Skin has reportedly been given 30 days to clear alleged rent and water bill arrears amounting to Shs36 million or vacate the premises he occupies.
In a notice dated October 26, 2026, the landlord, Isaac Katurebe, told the singer, identified in the document as Patrick Mulwana, that his tenancy was being terminated over what the landlord described as prolonged failure to meet rental obligations.
According to the notice, the tenancy agreement required Alien Skin to pay monthly rent of Shs2.25 million. The landlord claims the singer has not paid rent for 12 consecutive months, resulting in arrears of Shs27 million.
The notice also cites outstanding water bills of Shs9 million, bringing the total amount demanded to Shs36 million.
Katurebe says previous reminders and notices have not resolved the matter, leaving him with no alternative but to issue a notice of termination.
Citing the Landlord and Tenant Act, 2022, the landlord has reportedly given the singer 30 days to settle the outstanding amount or vacate the property.
The notice directs Alien Skin to remove his belongings and hand over the premises by November 26, 2026. It further warns that failure to comply could lead to legal proceedings and other enforcement measures.
It was not immediately clear whether the singer had responded to the notice or disputed the amount claimed by the landlord.
Alien Skin, whose legal name is given in the notice as Patrick Mulwana, rose to prominence through his music and performances, becoming one of Uganda’s recognisable figures in the local entertainment scene.
