Ugandan musician Pallaso has issued a stern warning to fellow artist King Saha following a violent altercation involving their camps at a Kampala entertainment venue, an incident that has since sparked tension across the music industry.
A fight breaks out at the Nakulabye venue
The incident reportedly occurred at a nightlife spot in Nakulabye during a music event attended by both artists’ entourages. Witnesses say the confrontation began as a verbal exchange before quickly escalating into a physical fight outside the venue.
Reports indicate that the scuffle turned chaotic, with allegations that weapons such as sharp objects were involved. Several individuals are believed to have sustained injuries as security struggled to restore order.
Rising tension between camps
The clash is the latest in a series of disputes involving the two music camps, whose rivalry has gradually intensified in recent months. Sources within the entertainment scene attribute the friction to competition, event-related disagreements, and personal differences between the entourages.
Previous encounters between the groups have also required intervention at public events, highlighting a growing hostility that industry observers say risks spilling further into violence.
Pallaso issues a warning
In a strongly worded statement shared after the incident, Pallaso accused King Saha’s camp of initiating the confrontation, claiming that his associates were attacked first during the chaos.
He further warned that the situation was far from over, using a chess analogy to suggest that retaliation could follow, a remark that has fueled concern among fans and stakeholders.
Calls for calm
Entertainment industry figures and fans have since called for calm, urging both sides to de-escalate tensions before the rivalry leads to further violence.
Authorities have not yet released an official detailed report on the incident or confirmed any arrests as investigations continue.
