Former Presidential Advisor and MP hopeful Justine Nameere has heaped praise on Mathias Walukaaga, saying he possesses stronger leadership qualities than Kampala Lord Mayor Erias Lukwago.

During an interview with a local TV station, Nameere commended Walukaaga for his clean record and calm approach to leadership, contrasting it with Lukwago’s often confrontational political style.

“Walukaaga has led Kyengera Town Council for five years without scandals or conflicts. He’s been a clean, focused leader, unlike Lukwago — a professional lawyer who has been entangled in fights and confusion since day one,” Nameere said.

Nameere made the remarks as she publicly endorsed Walukaaga’s bid for the Busiro East MP seat, describing him as a disciplined and result-oriented leader capable of driving meaningful change
