Ugandans have been called on to brace for a new financial system being developed by the government through the Central Bank, which could forever alter their financial freedoms.

Speaking at the Watchers Conference on Saturday in Kampala, Kabuleta claimed the move toward a cashless economy may open the door to unprecedented government control.
