The teacher at Uganda Martyrs Secondary School, Kayunga, who was recently at the centre of circulating explicit videos, has been suspended by the school board pending further investigations.

According to information obtained by this publication, the school board resolved to suspend the staff member as internal inquiries into the incident continue.

Sources further indicate that the board has also recommended disciplinary action against a male teacher alleged to have played a role in the circulation of the videos. The matter is still under review, and the final decision is expected to follow completion of ongoing internal and district-level investigations.

The incident, which surfaced last week after explicit content allegedly linked to the staff member went viral on social media, has continued to draw concern from education authorities, parents, and members of the school community.

School administrators have maintained that appropriate procedures are being followed in line with institutional and public service regulations as they handle the case.

Investigations by both the school board and district education authorities remain ongoing.
