Suspected Shooter Anguyo Relocated to Kiboga Following Cross-Border Arrest

Authorities have transferred suspected shooter Anguyo to Kiboga District as legal proceedings begin to take shape following his arrest over the weekend.

Anguyo was captured on Saturday in Aru Town in the Democratic Republic of Congo after reportedly fleeing Uganda in the aftermath of the shooting incident.

Security operatives carried out the arrest in a coordinated effort that underscores increasing cross-border cooperation.

Following his apprehension, the suspect was escorted back into Uganda and is now being held in Kiboga District, where he is expected to be arraigned in court.

Investigators are continuing to piece together the circumstances surrounding the shooting, including the motive and whether the suspect acted alone.

Authorities have not yet released further details but say more information will be provided as the case progresses.

Security agencies reaffirmed their commitment to pursuing suspects beyond national borders to ensure accountability and justice.
