Singer Pius Mayanja, popularly known as Pallaso, has hailed Abeeka Band after their joint project Marry You, marking his first-ever collaboration with a live band.

The Malamu star described working with the five-member group as an unforgettable experience, praising both their artistry and professionalism.

“I am honoured to work with such talented artists. You can feel the professionalism and experience Abeeka brings to the table,” Pallaso said. “Their vocal ability is undeniable—the sweetness and soul in their voices immediately caught my ear.”

He revealed that despite his years of experience in the industry, Abeeka Band introduced him to new ways of experimenting with his voice, a process he says has elevated the project to something truly special.

Marry You blends Pallaso’s signature Afropop style with Abeeka’s soulful live sound, resulting in what the artist describes as “a magical collaboration” that fans should eagerly anticipate.

Often dubbed East Africa’s most vibrant boy band, Abeeka—comprising Pages, Kevin, Michael, Producer Allan, and Dr. Trey—has carved out a reputation for electrifying performances and genre-blending music that fuses Afropop, R&B, and contemporary beats.

Away from the studio, Abeeka keeps a packed weekly schedule, thrilling audiences with residencies at some of Kampala’s hottest venues, including The Villa on Mondays, Garden Light Café on Tuesdays, Paradigm on Thursdays, Lazio on Fridays, La Cueva on Saturdays, and Catwalk on Sundays.
