Brenda Mwanje, the ex-wife of gospel singer Exodus, has appealed to him to stop attacking Pastor Robert Kayanja, whom she says has continued taking good care of their three children following their separation.

Brenda revealed that she and Exodus legally married on July 1, 2011, in a ceremony officiated by Pastor Jessica Kayanja. She explained that although neither of them has legally signed the divorce papers, the singer has allegedly abandoned his family.

According to Brenda, Exodus’s recent allegations against Pastor Kayanja stem from a sense of entitlement and his alleged bad behaviour.

“Which person, who has good behavior wakes up one day and says all those things about his father? Pastor Kayanja is still doing fatherly duties to me and my family to date,” she said.

She further described Exodus as ungrateful, arguing that he should reconsider his attacks on the pastor, given the support he has continued to extend to her and their children in his absence.

“You’re busy attacking someone who’s taking good care of your children. If he withdraws all the support, what will we do?” she asked.

Brenda questioned where Exodus’s sense of entitlement comes from, adding that if Pastor Kayanja decided to withdraw his support, the singer would need to step up and fulfil his parental responsibilities, which she claims he has not been meeting.

Her appeal comes amid the ongoing tensions surrounding Exodus’s allegations against Pastor Kayanja, with Brenda expressing concern that the dispute could affect the support her family currently receives from the pastor.
