JUST IN: Court Annuls Kawempe North MP Nalukoola’s Victory, Orders Fresh By-election

The High Court in Kampala has nullified Elias Nalukoola Luyimbazi’s election as Kawempe North Member of Parliament, Bossip Ug has learnt.

The court’s decision followed a petition by ruling National Resistance Movement – NRM’s Faridah Nambi Kigongo, citing voter bribery and campaigning on the day of elections.

The High Court Civil Division in it’s ruling has ordered a fresh by-election.
