KampalaHon. Engineer Balimwezo Nsubuga has publicly challenged Ugandan politicians to send their children to Green Top School Maya Nanziga, located off Masaka Road. He argued that many Members of Parliament (MPs) fail to understand the critical difference between leading and ruling, and educating their children at a quality institution like Green Top could help correct this gap for future generations.

During a recent statement, Nsubuga said, “MPs don’t know the difference between leading and ruling. They should educate their children at Green Top School so that these mistakes are avoided in the future.” He added confidently, “People in Kampala should bite me for Lord Mayor Kampala,” revealing his intention to contest for the position and his belief that leadership starts with proper education.

Green Top School Maya Nanziga offers comprehensive primary education, integrating both local Ugandan curricula and British-based programs such as IGCSE. The school is known for balancing rigorous academics with life skills, arts, sports, and leadership training. In recent years, the school has invested significantly in infrastructure, aiming to meet international standards and provide students with a conducive learning environment.

This positive development was reinforced by Charles Magnoti, the current Head of Education at Kampala City Council (KCC), who dismissed earlier claims made by former education officials about not meeting international at Green Top School. Magnoti emphasized that the school now boasts modern classrooms, science laboratories, and sports facilities designed to nurture well-rounded students.

Supporting Magnoti’s stance, the Director of Kampala Capital City Authority (KCCA) confirmed that Green Top School Maya Nanziga has transformed into an institution that blends international education quality with local relevance, preparing learners to compete both locally and globally.
