The long-standing rift between rappers Fik Fameica and Feffe Bussi has officially come to an end. In a recent television interview, Fik Fameica confirmed what many fans had long suspected — at one point, the two were not on speaking terms.

While some had dismissed the tension as industry hype, Fik admitted there had indeed been “a situation.” That chapter, however, is now closed.

The turning point came last weekend at a concert hosted by Geosteady, where the two artists met face to face and held a candid conversation. Whatever differences lingered appear to have been resolved in that moment.

Going a step further, Fik has publicly pledged support for Feffe Bussi’s upcoming concert at Lugogo Cricket Oval. In a show of unity, he called on fans to turn up in large numbers and back the hip hop movement.

“I have no problem with Feffe, and I’m very sure I will come for the concert,” Fik said. “I want to use this opportunity to call upon the fans to support him because he is good for the culture. He is good at the game. Come support him. This is enough to show you that there is no bad blood between us.”

Reflecting on their past misunderstanding, Fik emphasized growth and perspective.

“I accept we had a situation at one point, but not anymore. I take life so easily, and I believe you cannot eat the entire bread alone; we have to share. The industry is for all of us to share.”

Feffe Bussi has also shown maturity beyond rivalry. In a recent interview, he spoke about attending Fik Fameica’s mother’s burial, describing it as a moment that transcended any lingering disputes. According to him, grief required solidarity, not ego.

When asked whether any tension still existed, Feffe dismissed the notion, saying that at such a painful time, his focus was on standing with Fik and his family rather than revisiting old disagreements. For fans of Ugandan hip hop, the reunion signals a refreshing shift from rivalry to unity.
