Retired artist Desire Luzinda has announced that her wedding to gospel musician Lucas Lubyogo, known as Levixone, will be unlike typical weddings that include fans, media, and other attendees.

The Ekitone singer returned to the country yesterday, where her fiancé, Levixone, greeted her.

The couple is preparing for their nuptials scheduled for this month. When asked why they previously dismissed rumours of their relationship, Desire explained that they did not deny anything as they were merely friends.

It is only now that they are officially becoming a couple, which confirms their relationship to the public.

She mentioned that their celebration will kick off with a Kwanjula ceremony on August 13, followed by a wedding on the 15th. Furthermore, this event will not be aired on any television channel or social media platforms.

Instead, it will be available on a specific app that users need to download from MTN, as the telecommunications company has acquired exclusive broadcasting rights.

“Neither the man of God nor I have been denying anything regarding our relationship. We were simply friends, which is why we never officially acknowledged it. Meanwhile, our ceremony will be shown on MTN’s app since they purchased the exclusive rights. They selected us because we are the best,” she stated.

When asked why Levixone was her choice among many, she expressed that he complements her perfectly, just as she does for him.

Therefore, it is merely a matter of divine intervention with no particular reason behind it.

Addressing critics, Desire said that their remarks are merely background noise; their negativity has been ongoing, and it no longer affects her.
