Ugandan music producer and singer Daddy Andre (real name Andrew Ojjambo) has taken a significant step toward marriage, officially holding his traditional introduction ceremony (known as kwanjula) with fiancée Sylvia Suubi Nandera on February 8, 2026, in Busia.

The vibrant event drew a lively crowd, including prominent entertainment figures such as Ykee Benda, Elijah Kitaka, Spice Diana, and John Blaq.

These celebrities not only attended but also delivered electrifying live performances, transforming the cultural ritual into a glamorous, star-studded celebration filled with music, joy, and Ugandan traditions.
This marks Daddy Andre’s second public traditional ceremony.

In 2020, he held a kukyala (pre-introduction visit) with singer Nina Roz, but the relationship ended before progressing further. Learning from the past, the multi-talented artist has kept his current romance relatively private until now.

The couple confirmed during the ceremony that wedding plans are actively underway to formalize their union. Earlier in the month, on February 1, 2026, they held a colorful kukyala in Bulindo, paving the way for this kwanjula.

Sylvia Suubi Nandera maintains a low-profile life but comes from a notable family—she is the sister of Fiona Nakku, the National Female Workers’ Member of Parliament-elect following Uganda’s 2026 general elections.

Fans and industry peers have flooded social media with congratulations, celebrating the milestone and eagerly awaiting the couple’s white wedding.

Daddy Andre’s journey from heartbreak to new beginnings highlights resilience and hope in love
