Kampala — Lugaflow rapper Da Agent has reignited his long-running feud with fellow rapper Gravity Omutujju while expressing regret over his 2019 collaboration with singer Nina Roz.

Speaking during a recent interview, Da Agent, whose real name is Ivan Wabwire, questioned Gravity’s success, suggesting the latter might not have established himself in the music industry had he been the first to score a major breakthrough.

He also revisited his collaboration with Nina Roz on the 2019 song Sumulula, saying he regrets being part of the project.

“I don’t blame Nina Roz, but there were so many people who worked in order to make it fall since it was a good song,” Da Agent said.

His comments suggest that his disappointment with the song extends beyond Nina Roz, whom he appeared to absolve of responsibility for what he described as the project’s failure.

Da Agent and Gravity Omutujju have had a longstanding rivalry, with the former repeatedly questioning Gravity’s musical abilities and style. He has also previously indicated that a collaboration would require Gravity to apologise to their fans.

Released in July 2019, Sumulula brought together Da Agent’s rapid-fire Lugaflow delivery and Nina Roz’s vocals. The song was produced by D’Mario.

During the same interview, Da Agent also discussed other relationships within the music industry and his preference for keeping aspects of his personal life private.

Neither Gravity Omutujju nor Nina Roz had publicly responded to his latest remarks at the time of publication.
