The highly anticipated Craig David concert in Kampala, part of World of Sounds Season 2, was officially launched today at a vibrant press conference held at Noni Vie.

Hosted by media personality Douglas Lwanga, the event brought together a powerhouse of Ugandan talent ready to share the stage with the UK R&B legend.

Although Craig David wasn’t physically present at the launch, the energy was electric as several of Uganda’s top performers turned up in support. Myko Ouma, Kenneth Mugabi, Vampino, Benon, MC Kats, Victor Ruz, Laika Music, and others graced the occasion—all of whom are set to perform on concert night.

Speaking at the event, organiser Bushington reassured fans that while Craig David is yet to land in Uganda, preparations are in full swing for what he described as more than just a show:

“Season 2: R&B Edition is not just a concert—it’s an experience. We’re bringing together global and local talent to create a magical night where music, art, and culture meet,” he said.

The concert is slated for August 29, 2025, at the scenic Sheraton Hotel Gardens, and marks Craig David’s debut live performance in Uganda. Fans can expect soulful renditions of his timeless hits including “7 Days”, “Fill Me In”, and “Walking Away”.

With anticipation building and tickets already on sale via qkt.io/CraigDavidLive or by dialing 2524#, Kampala is gearing up for an unforgettable night under the stars.
