Bamulopa Sulaiman is a prominent education tycoon based in Kampala, widely recognized for transforming Uganda’s private education landscape through his innovative schools. Born in Jinja, Sulaiman moved to Kampala in 2008, bringing with him a vision to provide quality education that combines academic excellence with talent development.

In 2009, he founded MK International School in Busega as a standard community school. Over the years, the school gained traction and a reputation for nurturing young minds. In 2022, Sulaiman undertook a major transformation of the school, introducing new buildings and facilities, elevating it to international school standards.

MK International School is not only known for academics. Under Sulaiman’s leadership, the school has developed a thriving music choir, aimed at fostering the talents of students alongside extracurricular activities such as football and other sports. This initiative reflects Sulaiman’s commitment to holistic student development.

Interestingly, the school has a unique partnership with the Uganda Red Cross Society, which partially funds its operations. Students proudly wear uniforms featuring the Uganda Red Cross badge, a symbol of the school’s community-oriented ethos.

Beyond MK International School, Sulaiman also owns MK Primary School in Masanafu, further expanding his influence in Uganda’s education sector. His efforts have earned him recognition as one of the country’s wealthiest and most visionary education entrepreneurs.
