Fyno has claimed to have revamped Gravity Omutujju’s music career by writing songs that made him change his genre to become more appealing to listeners.
In an interview on Shalom 256, Fyno revealed that Gravity was on the verge of quitting rap, feeling disillusioned and ready to switch genres.
Musician Fyno
Gravity had actually given up on rap music. He told me he was tired. I told him we could restart his career. He wanted to move into ragga music, so I wrote the song Bitandise for him.
According to Fyno, that collaboration marked a turning point. The pair went on to produce another song titled Wasoma Kutolako, moving away from his traditional rap roots toward a more vibrant ragga-infused style.
Fyno added that this shift gave Gravity a fresh boost, leading to the consistent release of new music in the same vein.
