Shakib Cham Lutaaya has dismissed reports that he and his wife, socialite and businesswoman Zari Hassan, have ended their relationship.

Speaking during an interview on Sanyuka TV, Shakib explained that the rumours stemmed from a misunderstanding between the couple and insisted that they never separated.

According to him, Zari’s public comments about their relationship were made in the heat of the moment after a minor disagreement.

“Zari and I have never broken up. Just because someone is upset with you does not mean the relationship has ended. These things happen in every relationship,” Shakib said.

He revealed that even on the day Zari shared a post suggesting they had split, the two were still communicating and were able to resolve their differences shortly afterwards.

Shakib’s remarks come just days after Zari showed her support by attending his boxing match in Kenya over the weekend. The businessman emerged victorious after knocking out Kenyan musician and boxer Arrow Bwoy in the bout.

The couple have been together for nearly five years. They officially cemented their union in 2023 through a private Nikkah ceremony attended by close family members and friends.
