President Yoweri Museveni has celebrated his wife, Janet’s 77th birthday with a sweet message on social media.
Janet, as ” my dear wife, grandmother and mother, he applauded her for being a pillar for their family.
“On behalf of the many, I congratulate her and praise the Almighty God for giving her a long life and pray to the Almighty to give her many more years. Maama has been the pillar of the family, especially between 1981-1986 when she was a sole parent to the young Musevenis, Diana being only 6 months in 1981,” Museveni said.
The president also applauded the First Lady for her contribution to the spiritual, social, economic and political lives of Ugandans.
“She, for instance, founded UWESO, which has been caring for the orphans in Uganda ever since. In politics, she brought stable leadership to Ruhaama. Praise be the Lord for her life and contribution.”
