Ugandan Musicians Honor Pastor Wilson Bugembe As He Marks 20 Years In Music And Ministry

As Pastor Wilson Bugembe gears up for his much-anticipated concert celebrating 20 years in music and ministry, tributes are pouring in from across Uganda’s music industry. Both gospel and secular artists have come forward to applaud his legacy, influence, and unwavering dedication to spreading hope through music.

Renowned names such as Joseph Ssegawa, Maureen Nantume, Morgan Isaac, and Pastor Brian Lubega have publicly expressed their admiration and gratitude for Pastor Bugembe’s impact on their lives and the Ugandan music landscape.

Veteran gospel artist Joseph Ssegawa praised Bugembe for continually raising the bar in gospel music.

“I call Pastor Bugembe a great minister,” said Ssegawa. “Every year, he sets a new standard in gospel music that inspires us greatly. I also appreciate everyone’s support as we prepare to celebrate big on August 8th.”

Secular artist Maureen Nantume echoed similar sentiments, noting how working with Pastor Bugembe reignited her passion for music.

“He has always been an inspiration to me. When I approached him for a collaboration, he welcomed the idea, and we created something truly special,” Nantume shared. “Working with him deepened my love for music.”

Gospel artist Morgan Isaac emphasized that Bugembe’s milestone is a collective victory for the entire gospel community.

“Pastor Bugembe is not celebrating 20 years alone; we gospel artists are celebrating together. His success is our success, and we thank God for that.”

Pastor Brian Lubega highlighted Bugembe’s fearless leadership and generosity of spirit, recalling how he gave him a platform early in his ministry.

“Pastor Bugembe has a fearless heart that dreams big and takes risks,” said Lubega. “He was the first to invite me to minister at a seasonal night. He genuinely wishes others well and loves deeply.”

“I’m excited to see him mark this 20-year milestone. I’ve learned so much from him, and I pray that God continues to bless him,” he added.

As the countdown to his concert continues, the flood of tributes affirms Pastor Bugembe’s enduring legacy—not just as a musician, but as a spiritual leader who has touched countless lives through music.
