Uganda made a strong impression at the World of Coffee Dubai Exhibition held from January 18 to 20, as the event recorded a significant rise in attendance from 3,000 to over 6,000 visitors, highlighting growing global interest in coffee and increased participation from African producers.
The exhibition was attended by Uganda’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates, H.E. Aisa Ismail, accompanied by Embassy officials, demonstrating strong institutional backing for the country’s coffee sector and its export ambitions.
World of Coffee Dubai provided a strategic platform for Uganda to strengthen international partnerships, connect with global buyers and roasters, and position itself as a key player in the specialty coffee market.
Uganda showcased a wide range of premium products, including specialty and fermented coffees, reflecting the country’s rich coffee heritage, diverse growing regions, and commitment to quality.
Ugandan brands attracted considerable attention from international buyers, with Balambuli Kwigate Coffee standing out for its exceptional promotion and product presentation, further reinforcing Uganda’s reputation as a rising force in the global coffee industry.
