Trump Claims Iran ‘Surrendered’, Warns of Major Strike

United States President Donald Trump has claimed that Iran has apologised to its Middle East neighbours and effectively “surrendered,” while warning that the country could face heavy military action today.

In a statement posted on his social media platform on Saturday, Trump said Iran had been forced to back down after facing strong pressure from the United States and its allies in the region.

“Iran has apologised to its neighbours and surrendered,” Trump said, adding that the country would be “hit very hard” if it attempted further attacks.

The comments come amid rising tensions in the Middle East following a series of missile exchanges and military threats involving Iran and Western allies.

Trump suggested that Washington was prepared to escalate military action if Tehran failed to comply with what he described as efforts to restore stability in the region.

Meanwhile, Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian acknowledged that Tehran had communicated with neighbouring Gulf countries following recent attacks.

Iranian officials said the messages were meant to reassure neighbouring states that Iran would not target them unless attacks against Iran were launched from their territory.

However, Tehran dismissed claims that the country had surrendered, insisting it would continue defending its sovereignty and national interests.

Security analysts say the situation remains volatile and could escalate further if military threats from both sides continue.

Diplomatic efforts are ongoing to ease tensions, but observers say the coming hours will be crucial in determining whether the crisis intensifies or shifts toward negotiations.
