Tecno Mobile Uganda has introduced its latest smartphone lineup — the Spark 40 Pro Plus, Spark 40 Pro, and an unexpected addition, the Tecno Slave — at a launch event held in Kampala on Friday.

Bruce Dickson, a product consultant at Tecno, highlighted the Spark 40 Series as one of the slimmest devices in its category, combining sleek design with powerful performance.
“The phone comes with a Helio G200 processor, which is currently among the best in the mid-range market. It also supports both 30W wireless charging and 45W wired charging, giving users speed and convenience,” he explained.

The devices feature AMOLED displays with 1.5K resolution, offering users sharper visuals and vibrant colors.

Beyond showcasing the new models, Tecno used the launch to caution customers against counterfeit handsets.
“Some sellers are flooding the market with fake Tecno phones disguised as genuine models. We strongly urge buyers to purchase only from authorized dealers. If the price looks too good to be true, it’s likely fake,” Dickson warned.

Adding to this, Tecno Brand Manager Timmy Shen said the Spark 40 Series has quickly gained traction in Uganda.
“This model is more than a phone. It represents style, creativity, and self-expression — values that strongly appeal to today’s young generation,” he said.
