The endorsement

The rituals for the endorsement were done by the NRM electoral commission chairperson, Dr.Tanga Odoi who presented Museveni to the delegates during the national conference.

He said Museveni had been seconded by the National Executive Committee( NEC) and asked those who were in favour of Museveni as the presidential flagbearer.

The audience in unison answered in the affirmative, before Dr.Tanga confirmed the endorsement of the delegates conference.

Museveni later gave his acceptance speech to the NRM delegates.
