The meeting took place at Nakasero State Lodge, where President Museveni hosted the African Union envoy to discuss regional peace efforts.

The leaders stressed the need for continued engagement among South Sudan’s parties to resolve ongoing tensions through peaceful means.

President Museveni reaffirmed Uganda’s commitment to supporting peace initiatives, noting that stability in South Sudan remains critical for the region.
