Ugandan singer Lil Pazo shared a story recounting how he and Topic Kasente performed for three people at a fee of just Shs 2,000.

Speaking in an interview, he shared that the incident happened when they had visited Lya Baana Island for a musical tour.

The “Genda Ogule Emotooka,” hitmaker pointed out that the poor crowd turnout was possibly due to their reluctance to participate in the island’s traditional rituals.

Despite their best efforts, the performance took a disappointing turn when a sudden wind disrupted the show, causing the few audience members to retreat.

This setback, though disheartening, has since become a valuable part of Lil Pazo’s journey in the challenging Ugandan music scene.

Reflecting on the incident, Lil Pazo acknowledges the hardships of the music industry but emphasizes the importance of perseverance and respecting the efforts put into his craft, no matter the challenges faced.
