“I Hated Bobi Wine For The Rest Of My life” – Bebe Cool

After many years of rivalry, musician Bebe Cool has explained the reason behind his fallout with Bobi Wine and why he would never forgive him.

Speaking at the recently concluded edition of Bride and Groom Expo today, Bebe Cool explained that their rift started the day Zuena packed out of their home.

He tried reaching out to Barbie Kyagulanyi for help, and she, in turn, discussed the matter with Bobi Wine, who was then his close friend.

Instead of helping a friend, Bobi Wine allegedly called Bebe Cool, mocking, insulting, and questioning how he would involve his wife in his mess.

He didn’t expect such a reaction from Bobi Wine, since his wife had left him on a number of occasions, and it was Zuena who always convinced her to return.

Bobi Wine’s wife left him and ran to my home. Every time she came, I spoke to my wife to calm her down until she went back,’ he said. ‘I was on call and left him to speak for as long as he wanted. He disrespected me, but at that point, I was only counting the number of times his wife had run to my home after leaving him,” he added.

Contrary to allegations that their feud stemmed from music and differing political ideologies, Bebe Cool revealed that the betrayal was personal and extended beyond these factors.

“I hated Bobi Wine for the rest of my life. I, Bebe Cool, have said it.  For the job I had done in keeping his marriage, he had no right to disrespect me. He would have at least come to me face-to-face. People are bad,” Bebe Cool said.

He further revealed that the only way he would forgive Bobi Wine was if Bobi Wine came out and publicly apologised to him for his actions years ago.
