Hannah Karema Breaks Silence on False Allegations, Reaffirms Commitment to Truth and Integrity

Miss Uganda 2023/2024, Hannah Karema, has issued a firm and composed public statement addressing false allegations that have recently circulated about her online, describing the claims as baseless, defamatory, and deeply misleading.

In her statement, Hannah categorically denied all accusations, emphasizing that the claims do not reflect her character, values, or the responsibilities she has upheld during her reign. She noted that the allegations appear to be part of a deliberate attempt to damage her reputation and undermine her work as Miss Uganda.

“I categorically and unequivocally deny all the claims being made against me,” she stated. “They are completely false, baseless, and deeply hurtful.”

Hannah confirmed that the matter is being handled through the appropriate legal channels and that she is fully cooperating with her legal team to ensure the truth is established. She further noted that she reserves the right to pursue legal action against individuals responsible for spreading defamatory content.

Despite the situation, Hannah expressed confidence that transparency and due process will prevail. She indicated her willingness to address the matter openly on a credible public platform where facts can be discussed honestly, rather than through rumours and speculation online.

Throughout her reign, Hannah Karema has been recognized for her advocacy, discipline, and commitment to representing Uganda with dignity on both national and international platforms. Supporters and partners have since rallied behind her, commending her calm response and reaffirming their trust in her leadership.

In closing, Hannah expressed gratitude to the many people who have reached out with messages of encouragement and support during this challenging period, describing their belief in her as a source of strength.

“I remain focused, grounded, and committed to walking this journey with integrity,” she said.
