Global R&B sensation Craig David has been confirmed as the headline act for the much-anticipated second edition of the World of Sounds concert series, set to take place on August 29, 2025, at the Sheraton Hotel Gardens in Kampala.

Dubbed the R&B Edition, this year’s show promises an unforgettable night of soulful melodies, immersive art, and rich cultural expression.

The British singer, songwriter, and producer—renowned for hits like “7 Days”, “Fill Me In”, and “Walking Away”—will perform live for the first time in Uganda, in what is expected to be one of the biggest musical events of the year.

Craig David’s remarkable career spans over two decades, with over 15 million records sold worldwide, multiple BRIT and Grammy Award nominations, and a legacy of shaping the UK garage and R&B scenes.

His energetic performances and smooth vocals have earned him a loyal global fanbase, and his Kampala debut is set to make history.

The World of Sounds concert series debuted on October 6, 2023, at the Kampala Serena Hotel, where it wowed audiences with a powerful lineup led by celebrated afro-jazz guitarist Myko Ouma, alongside artists like Jose Sax, Sewa Sewa, Kenneth Mugabi, Joel Sebunjo, A Pass, Maurice Kirya, and a show-stopping surprise duet featuring Juliana Kanyomozi.

Building on that success, Season 2 takes the experience further with an international headliner and a curated mix of Uganda’s finest live performers and instrumentalists. The event remains committed to celebrating alternative music genres and elevating Uganda’s creative scene through cross-cultural collaboration and artistic excellence.

“World of Sounds Season 2: R&B Edition is not just a concert—it’s a celebration of rhythm, soul, and artistic fusion,” said ProducerBushington, the organiser. “With the addition of Craig David to the lineup, this year’s show is expected to attract music lovers from across the region for a magical night under the stars.”

Tickets and more details will be released soon. Stay tuned to official platforms for updates.
