Emmanuel Bwire, one-half of the popular music duo BentiBoys, was found alive after going missing for an entire week.

His shocking disappearance had left fans and the music community deeply worried.

Steven, the other half of BentiBoys, in a phone interview with Spark TV, said Emmanuel was found but appeared visibly weak and was barely able to support himself.

According to Steven, Emmanuel recounted that he was held against his will in an unknown dark location. The musician was reportedly in and out of consciousness throughout his ordeal and was extremely frail when found.

Steven also confirmed that Emanuel did not suffer any visible physical injuries. However, he talked of an unknown substance that was being continuously poured into his nose during captivity.

The matter has since been formally reported to the Kira Police Station, with plans to return later for a more detailed statement as investigations continue.

The alarm was first raised by Steven during an emotional appearance on Baba TV. He revealed that he grew worried when Emanuel’s phone stopped responding in the afternoon. It was unusual behaviour since Emanuel had left their shared home earlier that day in his car, but abruptly stopped answering calls and messages on WhatsApp.

The last time the duo was seen together was at Temperature Touch Studios the previous evening. They had plans to perform that night at Pier One, but after that, Emanuel vanished without a trace..

We will keep following this story as it develops.
