Former media personality turned politician Jacob Omutuzze is still struggling to come to terms with his humiliating defeat in the recently concluded Bunamwaya Division LC3 elections.
Omutuzze, who lost to the NRM candidate, has continued to make explosive claims following the loss, accusing several individuals of allegedly working behind the scenes to block his victory.
In his latest revelation, the former Dembe FM presenter has now dragged Eddy Kenzo into the saga, accusing the BET Award winner of masterminding his political downfall.
According to Omutuzze, Eddy Kenzo allegedly sponsored the NRM candidate, backed him financially and politically throughout the campaign period, and even influenced election officials.
“I have been running against different people, including Eddy Kenzo. He plotted my downfall and has been doing many mischievous things to make sure that I lose,” Omutuzze claimed.
The outspoken politician further alleged that powerful forces were mobilized against him, making it impossible for him to win despite what he believes was massive support on the ground.
In a shocking twist, Jacob Omutuzze also revealed that he is done with elective politics, insisting he will not be participating in any future elections.
His remarks have since ignited heated debate online, with some dismissing his claims as sour grapes, while others believe there could be more to the story than meets the eye.
