A new sound is rising, and it’s wrapped in style, culture, and creative fire. On Sunday, July 20th, 2025, all roads lead to Silo 15, Bugolobi, as Denim Cartel makes a bold entrance into the music scene as an Executive Producer with the Cartel Bizness EP a genre-blending project that promises to shake up the East African soundscape.

This isn’t just another listening party it’s Denim Cartel’s debut music experience, and an exclusive chance to hear the full EP before it officially drops on July 23rd. As one of East Africa’s rising creative disruptors, Denim Cartel fuses Afro-fusion, Afrobeats, and dancehall with local flavors, pushing sonic boundaries and crafting beats that resonate far beyond the region.

“Get ready for the next wave,” says Denim Cartel, who draws inspiration from musical giants like Dr. Dre, Wizkid, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West, and Timbaland. “We’re not just making music we’re defining a new sound and style for the continent.”

The Cartel Bizness EP Listening Party, hosted by Hype Cartel and Icy Sonia, is more than an event it’s a multi-sensory celebration of fashion, music, and innovation. With DJ Vanns on the decks, the energy will be electric from 5 PM till late.

Featuring a fire lineup of East Africa’s freshest voices including Elijah Kitaka, Kamanzi, Mike Kayihura, A Pass, Bensoul, Big Tril, Tungi, and more the EP is executive produced in collaboration with Axon, one of Uganda’s most in-demand producers known for hits like ‘Nana’, ‘Wait’, and ‘Dalilah’.

“It’s not just an EP,” says Axon. “It’s a cultural movement one that brings together sound, fashion, and a new artistic identity for the region.”

Known for turning sustainability into art, Denim Cartel is merging this fashion-forward vision with music delivering exclusive merch inspired by the EP’s visual and sonic themes.

“This is about storytelling through beats and fabric,” Denim explains. “Every thread, every sound, is part of the bigger picture.”

From immersive listening stations and fashion installations to live performances and surprise guest sets, the Cartel Bizness Listening Party is designed for the young, expressive, and unapologetically creative. With a projected crowd of over 500 tastemakers, music lovers, and cultural leaders, this is the kind of night that sets the tone for a generation.
