Kampala, Uganda — Kampala socialite Brian Kirumira, popularly known as Bryan White, together with his wife Naava Nakato, are expected to appear before the Makindye Chief Magistrate’s Court today, February 10, 2026, for an update on the status of investigations into an alleged human sacrifice case linked to the death of 25-year-old Caroline Nalubwama.

The couple has been under scrutiny by security agencies following allegations surrounding the circumstances of Nalubwama’s death, which investigators suspect may be connected to ritualistic practices.

Authorities say inquiries are ongoing as detectives gather forensic evidence and record witness statements to establish the exact events leading to the young woman’s death.

Court officials indicated that today’s appearance is primarily for investigators to brief the magistrate on the progress of the case and determine whether the suspects will remain on police bond, be formally charged, or face further legal directives as investigations continue.

Bryan White, a well-known figure in Kampala’s social scene and philanthropy circles, has previously denied any wrongdoing, maintaining that he is cooperating fully with investigators.

His legal team has also insisted that the allegations remain unproven and urged the public to allow due process to take its course.

The case has attracted significant public attention, with human rights advocates calling for a transparent and swift investigation, while community leaders have urged authorities to ensure justice is served for the deceased and her family.

Police have not yet released detailed findings, but have assured the public that updates will be provided as investigations progress.
