Singer Bebe Cool has opened up about how he built his wealth over the years, following the recent acquisition of a mansion worth $1 million (about Shs3.7 billion) in Bwebajja along Entebbe Road.

The luxurious home drew widespread attention after his wife, Zuena Kirema, shared the news on social media, sparking admiration and curiosity among fans.

Among those who reacted was a TikToker, Patra_Kay257, who asked the singer to explain how he became wealthy.

Responding in the comment section, the Kasepiki hitmaker outlined the principles that guided his financial journey.

“First, working with — not in, but with — the biggest spender, the government, because it always has the biggest budget. Secondly, sticking to your plan no matter how long it takes: consistency. Third, knowing the difference between assets and liabilities and focusing mainly on assets. Finally, wulilizanyo n’okuwagira President M7,” he wrote.

Bebe Cool has previously revealed that he invested earnings from government performances into bonds and treasury bills. He later used the returns to venture into a quarry business, where he now supplies construction materials.

Early in his career, some fans of his peers mocked him for taking longer to build a family home and acquire property. However, he maintained that he was following a long-term plan.

Today, his patience and strategy appear to have paid off, as he enjoys the fruits of his investments.
