Ugandan music powerhouse Bebe Cool has sent waves of excitement through his fans after opening up about the long-anticipated possibility of collaborating with fellow music legend Jose Chameleone.

While on a media tour in Nairobi, Kenya, promoting his latest album “Break The Chains”, Bebe Cool sat down for an exclusive interview with Buzz Central Kenya, where he spoke candidly about his evolving relationship with Chameleone.

Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone have shared a dynamic relationship over the years, one marked by both heated rivalries and heartfelt reconciliations.

Their shared journey through the highs and lows of the industry has shaped Uganda’s music culture for over two decades.

“Experience time has given us no option but rather to bond, and you can see that in all performances, most of the time I’m with Joseph by default,” Bebe Cool said.

According to Bebe Cool, age and experience have softened the lines of competition, making room for deeper connections.

“It’s automatic for people to get close when they grow,” he noted. He added that a collaboration between him and Chameleone is not only possible but could be right around the corner.

Fans from across the region have long dreamed of a joint project with the two icons, whose individual contributions have shaped the sound, style, and spirit of Ugandan music.

A potential track from Bebe Cool and Jose Chameleone wouldn’t just be a musical moment; it would be a historic milestone for the industry.
