Grace Nakimera has revealed that she has no plans to return to Norway, citing the country’s harsh weather conditions as the main reason for her decision.
Speaking about her experience, Nakimera explained that she once traveled to Norway to visit her Norwegian baby daddy and meet his family. However, the visit left her struggling to cope with the cold climate, something she says she had never experienced before.
I suffered in Norway and I have never experienced coldness like that. That’s why I’ll always stay in Uganda. I spent about two months there and came back, but I’m telling people, love Uganda more because for me, Uganda is better than Europe.
Despite her dislike for Norway’s weather, Nakimera maintains strong ties with the country through her daughter, who lives there.

The singer shared that her daughter frequently visits Uganda and has embraced her Ugandan roots.
According to Nakimera, her daughter speaks Luganda fluently and even knows how to prepare traditional dishes such as Luwombo.
She revealed that her daughter visited Uganda last year and could return soon, possibly in time for her upcoming concert.
