Singer and performing artist Jowy Landa has shared the burial programme for her late brother, Martin Kawuki, who breathed his last yesterday evening.
The 26-year-old passed away while in the hospital, where he had been bedridden for a year after being attacked by thugs.
In the process, he sustained serious head injuries, which came with a brain clot.
After spending close to a year in the hospital, he lost the battle, and Jowy Landa shared the information via her social media platforms.
A vigil was held at Jowy Landa’s parents’ home. Fellow artists, including Nina Roz, Alvin Kizz, Fyno, Nandor Love, Ava Peace, and Acidic Vokoz, expressed their sincere condolences during this challenging moment.
Based on the funeral program shared by the singer, Martin Kawuki will be buried today, June 12, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
This will take place at his ancestral burial site in Ndyalumu, Yazisa, Mulajje, Bamunanika, Luwero District.
