According to people close to him, his biological mother died before he was old enough to crawl, forcing him to grow up under the care of a stepmother in a strict family environment.

As he grew older, he reportedly engaged in casual jobs around Kampala to support himself before later focusing more seriously on music and business.

 

From struggle to music

Before becoming active in music, the singer reportedly worked several jobs in Kampala, including part-time work at Ganyana Distribution in Nakawa.

He later joined the welding business under the guidance of his father, Kyazze Sulaiman, before eventually opening his own business during the COVID-19 period.

His experiences in hardship, casual work, and survival later became part of the inspiration behind his music themes.

Omukenkufu Shaman UG officially started his professional music career in 2019.

Over the years, he has released several songs across digital platforms while steadily building a fanbase within Uganda’s grassroots urban music scene.
