Apex Media Services has entered into a new business partnership with Chameleone FM, a radio station linked to Ugandan music icon Jose Chameleone and operating from Bujumbura.

The collaboration, agreed on Tuesday this week, will see Apex Media Services take charge of marketing the station online and promoting its brand through the company’s established digital platforms and media channels.

The partnership followed a direct approach by Apex Media Services’ director, Nyanzi Martin Luther, who reached out to Jose Chameleone with a proposal to work together.

According to information shared, the idea for the collaboration originated from Apex Media Services as part of broader efforts to expand regional media connections and strengthen Chameleone FM’s online presence.

Under the arrangement, Apex Media Services is expected to focus on boosting the station’s digital visibility, growing its audience reach, and enhancing engagement through online promotion and content distribution.

Artwork circulated alongside the announcement displays the branding of both Apex Media Services and Chameleone FM, symbolising the newly formed working relationship between the two media entities.

While the partnership marks a notable step in cross-border media collaboration within the East African region, specific details regarding long-term projects, financial terms, and additional joint initiatives have not yet been publicly disclosed.

It also remains unclear when the first joint campaigns and promotional activities will officially begin.

Industry observers note that the move reflects a growing trend among media companies to leverage digital marketing partnerships to expand their influence beyond traditional broadcasting markets.

Further updates are expected as Apex Media Services and Chameleone FM provide more clarity on the next phase of their collaboration and upcoming activities.
