Popular Ugandan singer Spice Diana has sparked widespread discussion after openly disclosing her high daily spending habits.

In a recent interview with a local television station, the “Bailando” hitmaker confirmed she spends around UGX 2 million every single day, attributing the figure largely to her lifestyle and performance-related costs.

Breaking it down, Spice Diana explained that on days when she performs, the full UGX 2 million goes toward one show alone. This covers expenses such as production, crew, travel, styling, security, and other show-day necessities.

“I spend Uganda shillings 2 million every day. This amount is spent on just one show,” she stated.

On non-performance days spent at home, excluding major bills like rent or utilities, she still approximates UGX 1.5 million in personal spending.

The revelation has ignited heated debates across social media platforms. Supporters have praised the artist for unapologetically investing in her brand, appearance, and career, arguing that maintaining a high-profile celebrity image requires substantial financial commitment.

Others, including some critics and in-laws referenced in online commentary, have called out the spending as extravagant, questioning its sustainability amid economic pressures faced by many Ugandans.

Spice Diana, however, stands firm in her approach, viewing these investments as essential to sustaining her status as one of East Africa’s leading female entertainers.

With ongoing music releases, international tours, and business ventures, she continues to project confidence in her financial choices. The disclosure highlights the often-overlooked costs behind the glamorous facade of showbiz life.
