Events promoter Nobat Twezire, popularly known as Nobat Events has revealed that he has undergone personal reform following his remand over a cyber harassment offence, saying the experience forced him to reassess his life, behaviour, and relationships within the creative industry.

Speaking during a YouTube podcast, Nobat admitted to past mistakes and acknowledged that his time in custody became a turning point. He disclosed that he was often used by fellow artists to fight their battles online, only to be abandoned when he landed in legal trouble.

According to Nobat, the isolation and reflection that came with his arrest and imprisonment pushed him to confront the consequences of his actions, particularly his abusive conduct on social media.

He noted that his TikTok Live sessions, once notorious for attacking Eddy Kenzo, the Uganda National Musicians Federation (UNMF), and Kenzo’s wife, are now firmly behind him.

“Eddy Kenzo is even free to invite me and I help him use the money he has now received from government,” Nobat said. “My war with Kenzo is over and I’m done fighting him.”

He added that his absence from TikTok Live broadcasts is deliberate and part of a broader commitment to personal change. Nobat revealed that even after his release from prison, he initially remained angry and continued lashing out at the UNMF leader, but says that phase of his life is now closed.

“I have chosen peace,” he stated, stressing that he no longer wants to be associated with online fights or public feuds.

In a separate revelation, Nobat disclosed that when music promoters recently met President Yoweri Museveni, he was excluded from the delegation. Despite being removed from the list, he said he did not protest or raise any public complaints, viewing the incident as another test of his new outlook on life.

Nobat maintains that he is focused on growth, accountability, and staying away from conflict, insisting that his days of social media wars are over.
