American R&B icon and multi-award-winning star Joe Thomas returned to Uganda a few days ago for the Night With Joe concert at Mestil Hotel, his third performance in the country, courtesy of Malembe Lifestyle. And if audience reactions were anything to go by, this was easily one of the standout musical events of the year.

Beyond Joe’s timeless vocals and magnetic stage presence, the seamless production elevated the night into an unforgettable experience. Fenon Premium Events took charge of the staging, lighting, and sound, and their mastery was evident from start to finish. The entire show unfolded without a single sound glitch, a rarity even in top-tier productions.

Joe stepped on stage at about 10 p.m., dressed in shimmering silver and greeted by thunderous applause. His velvety voice, unmatched control, and effortless charm transported the audience through a journey of soul, nostalgia, and pure RnB elegance. It was a performance that reminded Kampala why Joe remains one of the genre’s most enduring and beloved voices.

In a testament to their growing regional footprint, we also learned that Fenon handled production for Joe’s Kenya concert just a day earlier—delivering yet another world-class setup that matched the artist’s stature. Their consistency, expertise, and attention to detail continue to position them as one of East Africa’s most reliable events production houses.

With flawless execution from both the performer and the production team, A Night With Joe both in Kenya and Uganda was more than a concert but more of an experience.
