Interview with Nyanzi Martin Luther quietly documents NGO’s position amid regulatory attention
Kampala, Uganda – A formally documented interview featuring Nyanzi Martin Luther, founder of Apex Digital Skills, has surfaced in limited circulation, providing a direct, recorded account of the NGO’s activities, structure, and non-political stance. The interview, officially listed on IMDb under the title “Nyanzi Martin Luther: Exclusive Interview (2025)”, was conducted by journalist Musayimugaga Bashir and directed by Mboowa Swaadiqu, who also handled editing.
The interview, while widely distributed on TV not online, has drawn attention in civil society and policy circles due to its timing. It features Nyanzi discussing the operations of Apex Digital Skills — a youth-focused non-profit working in districts such as Wakiso, Mukono, and Luweero since its founding in 2025.
“We maintain a clear boundary between capacity-building and politics,”
Nyanzi says in the recording.
“Our mandate is based on skills training and youth entrepreneurship.”
