Global dance music superstar Skrillex will make his East African debut at the Nyege Nyege Festival’s 10th Anniversary, scheduled for November 20–23, 2025, at Kalagala Falls on the Nile River, hosted at the Adrift Overland Camp & River Club.

Widely regarded as one of the most influential artists of his generation, Skrillex has transformed the global soundscape of electronic music, thrilling audiences at some of the world’s most iconic festivals including Coachella, Glastonbury, Tomorrowland, and Lollapalooza. His genre-defying collaborations with international heavyweights such as Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, The Weekend, Ed Sheeran, Diplo, and Fred Again have left a lasting mark across pop, hip hop, and electronic music.

With multiple Grammy Awards and billions of streams to his credit, Skrillex’s appearance at Nyege Nyege marks a historic milestone for both Uganda and East Africa’s festival scene.

Beyond Skrillex, the 10th edition will feature over 100 artists performing across six immersive stages, blending ancestral rhythms, underground sounds, and futuristic innovations. Organizers say more artists will be announced in the coming weeks, promising an unforgettable experience.

“This tenth edition is not just a celebration of our journey so far; it is a bold declaration of our future,” the organizers said in a statement. “After years of exploration along the riverbanks, Nyege Nyege is proud to settle at Kalagala Falls, a sacred and stunning location offering sweeping views, riverside wilderness, on-site bungee jumping, and world-class festival infrastructure.”

Organized by Talent Africa Group, Nyege Nyege has become a cultural powerhouse where Uganda’s musical heritage collides with global club culture and diasporic influences from the Caribbean, Latin America, and beyond. This year, festival-goers will also enjoy a new adventure and discovery package curated in partnership with sautisafari.com, offering unique experiences alongside the music.

As Nyege Nyege celebrates a decade of cultural exchange and innovation, Skrillex’s headlining act cements its place as one of the world’s most daring and influential festivals.
