Cindy Sanyu has revealed how her journey in the music industry has shaped her confidence and boldness to speak her mind.

While appearing on Horizon Vibe, Cindy reflected on her early years in the industry, admitting that she used to hold back her opinions.

Over time, however, she says she has grown into a more outspoken and self-assured artist.

I had to first accumulate my weight until the point I felt that I’m heavy enough to talk and speak my mind.

That cannot be done by an artist who has just started; when you’ve just started you need to keep certain truths to yourself until you reach the point when you’ve the right platform and your fans are ready for it, and then you can speak your mind.

Cindy also noted that this growth extends beyond her music career into her personal life, particularly in relationships.

She confessed that when she first started dating, she overlooked important aspects and was carried away by surface-level attraction.

When I got into a relationship there were so many things I didn’t ask, and I just went with the flow, how the guy looks like and the vibe I was feeling at the moment.

But the more I grew, I understood that people need to be honest.
