The Democratic Front has officially endorsed Moses Kasibante as its flagbearer for the party for the post of Mayor of Rubaga Division. The announcement was made through the party’s social media page.
“The Democratic Front proudly has endorsed Hon Kasibante Moses as the party’s official flag bearer for the position of Mayor, Rubaga Division in the upcoming elections.”
The Democratic Front also went to brand their new flag bearer as one who has shown strong leadership, integrity, and unwavering support to the people of Rubaga.
We should also remember that Hon Kasibante Moses was the MP for Rubaga North constituency from 2011-2021 and was later succeeded by NUP’s Abubaker Kawalya.
Meanwhile, NUP’s Mberaze Zacchy currently serves as the Mayor of Rubaga Division. The contest is shaping up to be more than just a clash of individuals—it’s a showdown between NUP and DP, fueled by the long-standing rift between Hon. Mathias Mpuuga and Hon. Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu.
